J'adore Vox Box

I received my latest Vox Box yesterday. It's the J'adore Vox Box.

Included were Hershey Kisses, John Frieda's 3 Day Flat Spray, Kiss Lashes, Boots Beauty USA Ionic Clay Mask and Red Rose Tea in Caramel and Lemon flavor. 

I will try these products out over the weekend and Let you guys know how I like them!

BEADS!!!

So over the weekend, my friend and I discovered Perler, Hama or melty beads. I never made those as a child and clearly I missed out. It can be tedious and time consuming to pick tiny beads, in just the right color, out of a bucket filled with over 11,000 beads but it's fun! You can make big projects or small ones. You can create anything that has a cross stitch pattern or you can make up your own. But chances are, if you can think of it, it can be done.

We started with a set of random Perler beads but quickly realized, it wasn't enough of the right colors. We traveled to Walmart to get more. Walmart carries a generic starter kit of melty beads. The beads are not all sized the same and the holes are generally off-centered or not actually holes. We bought them anyway because we didn't know and Michael's was closed.

Micheals carries Perler brand melty beads. You can buy packs of 1000 in a specific color, starter kits with 8000 beads in various color or 11,000 packs of only beads. There isn't a large section dedicated to Perler but it triples Walmarts stock.

If you don't buy the same brands, you will get color variations. Not all blues are the same! It's nice however if you need different shades of the same color for ombre effect.
Overall I've enjoyed this new hobby and most of the products that go along with it!

Violet Vox Box

I recieved my 2nd Vox Box a couple weeks ago. It's taken me a while to write this reveiw becaise I've moved and there have been holidays in-between.

The Box included a Montagne Jeunesse clay spa mask, a Goody Athletique headband, Not Your Mother's Clean Freak, a SoyJoy bar and Triple Shine nail polish.

I used the headband right away. It's great when you're working out because it's made of quick-dry material. I usually leave the house with wet hair, so it was nice to have a headband that didn't block my hair from drying. I really like that it's reversable and ouchless.








Next I used Triple Shine in Dive In. I love the color and the fact that it's long lasting. I also love that it does what it says and has a shine that also last. The color will be great for anytime of year and it has a feminene quality that I enjoy.








I like the Soy Joy bar ok. I wasn't a fan of the flavor I received but it wasn't too bad. I will try other flavors in the future. It is a great snack for on the go and I am always on the go!

I loved how clean the Montagne Jeunesse clay mask and the NYM's Clean Freak made me feel. I enjoyed them both. I won't use Clean Freak often because I have unruly curly hair and it must maintian a certain level of moisture to keep from frizzing but it wasn't bad. After the clay mask, my pores felt smaller and skin felt refreshed.

All in all, I'd give the Violet Vox Box a 4 Kisses!

I review Bolthouse Farms smoothies!

I love Bolthouse Farms products!

 I love love love the Ranch dressing from them because it's low calorie, made from yogurt and taste great! This week and in the past I have branched out an tried their smoothies.

I love the Green Goodness juice. It taste like apple juice but has so many vitamins and nutrients in it, it's like apple juice on steriods. The color and texture can be off putting but it goes down smooth. So far this is my favorite one. It gets a 5 out of 5!

Next I tried the Orance + Carrot juice. I didn't love this one but I do give it a good score. I'd say it's a 4 out of 5. It had a slight carrot taste but mostly tasted like OJ. I think it will take me longer to get used to it but there's so much Vitamin A in it that you feel great drinking it.

 The last one I tried was the Chocolate Protien Plus drink. It had the very slight grainy taste that smoothies have. I felt full after drinking half of the 15.2 oz. bottle. You have to be careful with this tasty treat because it is a little high in calories compared to the fruit drinks by Bolthouse. Outside of the texture, the taste was like drinking chocolate milk but better since it is good for you! This one gets a 3.5 out of 5.

Overall, I give Bolthouse Farms 5 out of 5 Kisses!! Keep up the good work!!!

My first Vox Box

I'm a member of the Influenster team. I received my first free item to review last week. It's a new Colgate Slimsoft toothbrush.

The box included the toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash. 

I really like this toothbrush because its so thin. It can get into hard to reach places and my mouth feels cleaner after using it. I also like that I can brush deep in my mouth and it doesn't set off my gag reflex. 

All in all I give the Colgate Slimsoft toothbrush 4 kisses out of 5.
